  • The change in 1.1.5.4 that fixed the problem that could give an "Access denied" error was found not to work when the email did not have an EntryID. This was most likely to occur when an email was opened that had arrived as an attachment to another email. This is now fixed.

  • The email being processed, which appears last in the reversed list now shows Time Received rather than Time Sent. This is for consistency because although Time Sent is shown in the email for the previously sent and appended emails the Outlook Inbox actually shows Time Received.
  • Changes made to the way images from the email are temporarily stored to avoid "Access denied" errors experienced by some users.

  • Improvement: PDF files are now created as fully selectable text rather than bitmaps.
  • New option: Previously if you entered your own title and or introduction for the cover page these were always remembered. This was not ideal for users who wanted to write a separate introduction for each chain. The new option allows users to change this behaviour so the Title and Introduction section come up blank each time, ready for a new entry.
  • Bug fixed: With previous versions in some environments an error occurred apparently at random causing a page print job that produced pages that were blank except for footer.

  • Option added on Print page to turn off the explanation of how the document was produced that appears in the footer.
  • Option added on Print page to turn of the numbering of replies in the message separator. This may be useful when you are including some but not all of the messages and the Reply numbering would be confusing.
  • Further improvements to the way embedded images are printed.
  • When an error occurs there is an option to send the email concerned to Greenhill Software to enable them to re-create the issue. There is a declaration that the confidentiality of the message will be respected.
  • A log file is now created in My Documents\Add-in Express\PrintForTrial Log.txt. A new file is created every time Outlook is started and the old one replaced.
  • Error messages sent to Greenhill Software will include the log file.
  • If there is a problem creating the document to print an error message is shown rather than sending an empty document to the printer.
